Transfer FSMO roles

HI

if I want to Transfer all FSMO roles from DC1 to DC2 I
have to run ntdsUtil.exe in DC1?

I want DC1 to be a member of DC2

I usually run ntdsutil from the machine that you're transferring the roles
TO - so in this case run it from DC2. Once that's done, you can run dcpromo
to make DC1 a member server, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Yes I want to made DC1 a member of DC2 but in the case of
running ntdsutil on DC2 when it ask me connect to server
name I have to enter the name of DC1?

You can connect to DC2 through ntdsutil even though you're -on- DC2...can
sound counter-intuitive, I know.
