Transfer files using cross cable in Windows XP

Hi I connected up 2 Win XP computer with a cross cable to the
network card. I am unable to see the computer shares either way.
The XP firewall was disabled. Plse help. Thanks!

Ensure to run the network setup wizard, and also read in "help" about
how to do networking.
