Transfer data from pc to laptop Win2k & Win XP ?

I would like to transfer data from my old desktop running Windows 2000
Pro to my new laptop with XP home on it.

Is there a way using a USB cable to transfer files from my pc to my laptop ?

Does Windows XP have the software needed to transfer files between the
computers? Is any additional software required to perform the file transfer?

Yes you can do it. Usb to Usb works or with a serial cable
or by setting up a network. Type in your help and
support "File Transfer" that will tell you how.
