I have taken my Outlook Express files and address book
from my Win98 computer (all .dbx files) but I cannot find
the OEX directory on my MSoft XP (home) computer. as I
get into the directories where they are mapped to
from "properties" (C:\Documents and Settings\name\Local
Settings\Application Data\Identities\{A0EBxxxx-Dxxx-xxxF-
A8xx-0FxxCxxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Inbox.dbx) I
cannot find the folders after "Identities." Is there an
easier way to do this? Is there an easy way to transfer
my address book? It was easy when I went from Win95 to
Win 98.

Nothing really to do with the operating system. Try an OE group or check out
Tom Kochs' (Tom is one of the OE MVP's) web site for this info and more on
recovering your Outlook Express stuff. http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/
