Trading Unused Vista Business License

Hi,
As a member of the MS Alliance Software (MSDNAA), I was given a free,
genuine license for Windows Vista Business edition via download. I was
wondering if there is a way to trade my license for a Windows Vista Home
Premium license or pay a reduced upgrade fee for a Windows Vista Ultimate. I
haven't yet activated this product key nor have I installed the new OS. I'm
asking this because I currently use Windows XP Media Center and would like to
do an "upgrade install" on a version of Vista that has media center
capabilities.

since when does a student need MediaCenter for his learning issues ?

Forget it. Read Your License Agreement that you have signed by getting that
key.

You are forbidden to resell or trade in any way your License, as it is only
for your personal learning needs and underlies a very special agreement
between your school/university and MS .

If you want HomePremium or Ultimate for your private amusement :

Download and Buy it instantly at :

Depends what he's studying... if he's doing media studies, movie
production and the like he will need MediaCenter.

I'm in a simular position - having opted for free upgrade to Vist Business
with a new PC - only to discover I needed Ultimate edition - Now DELL have
offered this option as a £45 upgrade on new PC's a week since I bought mine!
Doh!
