I've got a Vista Ultimate Upgrade package, both 32bit and 64bit DVD's W/ SP1
disc, that I'm willing to trade for Windows XP SP2 Tablet Edition.

Mine are genuine MS discs with CoA, yours need to be also.

E-mail address is bogus, but the offer isn't. Respond here and we'll work
something out.

Try Craigslist or Ebay, this is a support group, not a swap shop.

I would seriously hesitate before engaging in any transfer of property with
someone you don't know. Selling them on Ebay and purchasing what you need
with the proceeds would be far safer.

In addition to Rick's comment that using a newsgroup for posting a
for-sale-or-trade ad is inappropriate, keep in mind that XP Tablet is an OEM
distribution, not retail. As the Tablet PC FAQ states at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327160

"Q1: Where can I purchase a copy of Windows XP Tablet PC Edition?"

"A1: Because Windows XP Tablet PC Edition has specific hardware
requirements, it can only be obtained pre-installed on a Tablet PC computer.
You cannot buy Windows XP Tablet PC Edition separately."

The only availability for Tablet PC besides preinstalled on a computer is
OEM system builder packs. Those are not licensed for sale to end users.

I'll trade my ex-wife for your girlfriend if she is cute. Send details.

Your "ex" isn't exactly property you can trade.
It was property that left you....hahahah.
Loser.
Did your TV walk out on you too ?
Little Bill not waking up fully ?
What a chump.

It comes in MSDN too and technet, doesn't it Colin?

Sinner, You should have the option to install XP from any XP disc (even
if the license is already taken) and then when calling in for
activation, tell them you are using your vista license for downgrade to
XP. They should authorize your XP for you then. Good luck!

Wrong. See, you don't know shit. I left her for another woman.

Wrong. Winner

Sorry. My TV is on the wall.

Wrong again. Maybe you should buy lottery tickets. Loser.

You not a winner...you "lost" your wife.
You make poor choices.
Or she made a poor choice( more likely).
I've been married since 1984...still am...you read the vows, right ?
Oh, thats right...you can neither spell nor read.
Or maybe it was common law...in which case she got the trailer.
Or it was a life partner...he got the trailer.

No I ditched the wife. Didn't loser her. After some "updates" she didn't
run right.
You make poor choices.

Oh well. Shit happens.

Or she made a poor choice( more likely).

From her point of view

I've been married since 1984...still am...you read the vows, right ?

Good for you.
Oh, thats right...you can neither spell nor read.

Wrong again. Better purchase more lotto tickets if you can find some cash.
Better get permission from the wife.
Or maybe it was common law...in which case she got the trailer.

Wrong again.
Or it was a life partner...he got the trailer.

Maybe that is your scenario.

See...that's why I'm still married.
I don't need permission, nor lottery tickets.
I've never played a lottery.
I know how to make money ( and chance ain't it).
Its money or lovemaking...I got one of 'em at least.
You should follow Frank...your weak on your own.

See, you said sorry.
An apologetic man...women like that, for curtailing.
What a profile you make!
Did your father die, or leave ?

Yes. Both retail and volume license versions of XP Tablet PC Edition and
2005 Edition are available on MSDN and Technet along with the MUI pack. I
believe that these available downloads listings are publically viewable on
both sites although greyed out for non-subscribers.
