Track changes in a form made to text boxes, drop downs selected,

Hi

I want to use a template with text boxes, drop downs and check boxes.
I need to track changes a user makes to these fields.

I tried using protection and turn on track changes, but then the form no
longer functioned properly.

Any ideas

The only way to do that would be to have both the original document and that
changed by the user, then unprotect them both and use Ctrl+A to select
everything and then Ctrl+Shift+F9 to unlink the fields in the documnet
(which will convert everything to normal text) and then use the Document
Compare facility to compare the two documents.
