Track Changes:date/time stamp format

The date and time stamp in the ballon for track changes is in US format
(09/22/06)although the rest of my document and system is in UK format
(22/09/06). Is there any way of changing this to UK format please?

Hi Kate

You have to ensure that the Windows, Office and Word settings are all set up
to use the UK date format. The key one here, from memory, is the Office
setting at Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools

Language settings.

Thank you - As usual MS is very good when you know all the settings/options.
I looked at all other Language settings but this one. Thank you again for
