i managed to extract my ISO file and burn it to a cd but it always failed to
boot from the cd i made and when i check out the problem and double clicked
the setup file it said that my OS is not compatible with the version of rc1.
I have both of them in the x64 bit version(rc1 and beta 2). so does anyone
know what to do? should i download the 32-bit and see if it'll work? plz help
its much appreciated.

The iso-files MUSTN'T BE EXTRACTED.

You have destroyed the file-structure, that's why it wont boot.

You go in your burning-prog and choose something like burnImage to DVD.

How to do that : see the manual for yer burning-app.

Upgrade is only possible from XP to Vista x86 or from XP64 to Vista x64.
Language must be the same.
