I have a friend that can't seem to get the image to fill the screen on her
monitor. It is from 1191 the monitor and specs as follows. The driver has
updated, the buttons on the monitor have been tried as well.
Video card: 8 Meg SIS AGP 3D Accelerator Video (BX Chipset)
RAM: 256 Kb
Monitor: AAMAZING Super VGA Colour Model CM-8428SX
Computer: Intel PII 366 Celeron
I've re-checked the Display folder & find settings at 24 bit. I can change
the setting to 1280 x 1024 res & 1024x768, and when I try to apply, it comes
back at 800x600. It occurs to me to tell you that the shrinking is on the
horizontal, as I can still adjust vertical to fill the screen. What I find
particularly intriguing, is that I have put another monitor onto the system
and it is doing the same thing. So, my conclusion from that is that the
problem is not in the monitor, but in the settings in CPU, which I seem to
be unable to change. As I have pondered this overnight, it occurs to me
that this has been happening since I installed the XP.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sam
