touch pad lock shortcut?

The @#! cat stepped on my keyboard and my touchpad stopped working. HP
Pavillion notebook. Anyone know the shortcut keys for locking/unlocking the
touchpad?

Look at the blue sketches on the keyboard keys. One should look like
the touchpad. Press Fn with that key to re-enable the touchpad. Or,
with the model number, go to HP support and search for an answer there.
I would have attempted it, but you didn't give your model number.
