Desktop shortcuts not working

Hello,

When I lock my computer & then unlock, the desktop shortcuts stop working
and only takes me to the shortcut properties window instead of launching the
program it's intended for. When I logoff & back on it's ok. This behavior
only happens when I lock & then unlock the computer.

Please assist.

I ran both REG's on line 12 (exefix.reg & linkfilerestore.reg) & then
rebooted but still have the same behavior.
