Totals in access

Hi Fellas

Need some help figuring out a way to get the Qty on hand
Working.

E.G. we have 30meters of cable(QtyOnHand) we need to use
12meters(QtyUsed)leaving us with 18meters making this the
new QtyOnHand.

Can soomeone please help me fix this problem its been
killing me since Office'97.

pls explain more what are you doingas not clear exactly. if you want to
update QtyOnHand after QtyUsed added to some form - you you can use update
query in form's after update event
