Tools tips behind task bar

Periodically my tool tips for task bar items start appearing behind the task bar
so they cannot be read. The only cure seems to be a reboot. Is there any other
way to fix this? Why do they get that way to begin with?

No. You have to live with it. It won't stay behind for ever.

It's a known bug.

You can:
Right click the Taskbar | Properties | Taskbar tab |
UNCheck: Lock the taskbar and Keep the taskbar on top |
Apply | OK |

Right click the Taskbar | Properties | Taskbar tab |
Check: Lock the taskbar and Keep the taskbar on top |
Apply | OK |

It works for a while.
