Tools, How to remove Messenger, SS Spider

How do I remove items from the drop down tool menu in
Internet Explorer 6? Messenger is listed, which I do not
have installed and SS Spider not installed. I hate looking
at these each time I go into my tools! Please advise how
to delete them, I would really appreciate it Thank you!

find the one with the menu item you want to delete and
delete the entire extension. Good luck.

Go to Start | Run and type

regedit

Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

and click on the plus (+) sign in front of MenuExt. Right click the subkey
representing what you want to get rid of and select Delete.
