IE6 Tools Menu - Remove Items?

I seem to have 2 items in the 'Tools' menu in Internet Explorer ... 'Messenger' and 'MaxSpeed'. Clicking on them gives me errors saying something about windows not finding the path to the .exe file and whatnot. I've uninstalled this MaxSpeed thing (since it showed up as some type of spyware), and the messenger I use is MSN Messenger, which isn't located in the path the error refers to.

So, my questions are:

- should I be concerned that these are listed here and don't really exist?
- is there any way to remove them from the 'Tools' menu (out of sheer annoyance)?

Thanks in advance.

It is no biggie and will cause no problem if you do nothing.
To remove....

Use Regedit.exe and remove the item. It should be under here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions
