toolbars - gone :-/

I'm not sure what happened, but I have lost all my toolbars in windows
explorer. This has nothing to do with clicking on tools menu ... they are
just not there.... I had used xteq and perhaps inadvertently removed
functionality ... question is where in registry or other place, can I find
the spot to check to get them back...
