On my other computers, the "quickpick" toolbar at the
bottom is always visible. On my home PC, it is only
visble when I am in the desk top view. This makes it
difficult to jump between applications. What setting can
I change to always view the bottom toolbar?

Right click the taskbar, choose properties and make sure "Always on top" is
checked and "Auto hide" is not checked...
