toolbar

View -> Toolbars

Make sure the one you want is checked. If it is you've
probably 'hidden' it. Click at the bottom of the toolbar
and drag down.
 
I have a similar problem. My Navigation toolbar is gone, and I can't find it. Still looking for answers.
