toolbar displaying improperly

I came in today to find my custom toolbar menus are displaying incorrectly.
Instead of just the name of the toolbar and the double arrow symbol, it shows
the name of the toolbar and the icon and name of the first program inside the
toolbar. I tried removing the toolbar and reattaching the directory, but the
problem just moved to the next custom toolbar in the line. In addition, the
first item in the tolbar showing next to the name works as a toolbar itself.
Its like another toolbar was added for that directory (but withput any action
on my part). I have a screenshot, but I don't see any way of posting here.
I tried restarting the computer, no result. I know updates were recently
installed (Wed), but I didn't see any problems yesterday. any suggestions?

Right click taskbar > Uncheck "Lock the taskbar" then
Right click on toolbar name > Uncheck "Show text"

Good Luck, Ayush.

Ayaush,

Thanks for the response and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I
was unaware you could manipulate the toolbars that way, so thanks. However,
the title is what I want to show. What I don't want to see is the folder
icon followed by the first item in the toolbar. Plus, this only happens with
one toolbar at a time (although not a specific toolbar).

I currently have 3 toolbars attached to the taskpane "XAMPP", "WWW", and
"Macromedia". Normally, I would just see:
| xampp >> | www >> | Macromedia >> |

but instead I see:
| xampp >> | www [folder icon] bol >> | Macromedia >> |

bol is the name of the first directory in www. Again, when I try to
unload/reload the toolbar this effect just moves to the next tool bar, so now
I see:
| xampp >> | Macromedia >> [folder icon] Dreamweaver | www >> |

Thanks for the suggestion, any additional responses would be appreciated and
I'll try to be more timely in my response.

Resize the toolbars:
Unlock the taskbar and drag the vertical line between "xampp" and "www" toolbars to
right.

I discovered I could just unload all of the toolbars and then reload them and
the problem seems to be resolved, but now that you mention it I never tried
resizing them. It seems strange that it would carry over from one menu to
the next, but maybe that is just how it is set up. Anyway, problem solved.
Thanks!
