Tool to find 0 bytelength files, and orphans

Gentlepeople,
Rather than manually search 60 GB of files checking properties, I'm looking
for a tool that can find files zero bytes in length, and orphaned files. Does
anyone know of such a tool? Reason: my publish operation errors out "Ran out
of memory trying to allocate 0 bytes", and I suspect while trying to publish
a zero-byte-length file.
Frontpage ( and Windows ) will only show the diskspace allocated to a file,
unless one goes to the properties of the individual files.
I welcome any thoughts on this problem that you wil share.

More likely the memory problem was due to a corrupted .web file.

With FrontPage closed, in windows explorer place
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
in the address bar
then delete every .web file there. FP will recreate them as required.

Windows Explorer is also a good tool for locating zero length files. In
details view, click on the Size column header to sort by size.

Orphaned files can be found using a combination of Unlinked files report and
Hyperlinks view, though neither of these will show links made by scripting.
The Unlinked files report will show the number of links to and from pages
that cannot be reached by following links from the Home page.

Or after the site is open just use View Reports All Files - you should see 0 byte length files

Ronx.. thank you so much for this response.. I have been ripping my hair out
for HOURS now over this. I have 60 webs on the PC.. all would open except
one.. Every time I tried to open this one web it would go round and round for
3-5 minutes, watch the PF climb and climb, then get "Ran out
of memory trying to allocate 0 bytes". Nothing I could do but click OK and
try again. I could however open it thru the network on my laptop, so I knew
there was nothing wrong with the web itself.

I removed the .web file and reopened the web in question and bingo.. it
opened finally!! I will tell you I was quite hesitant about deleting that
file .. tested it it on a small web.. this one with the problem is quite
large..

Deleting web cache files will not cause problems. Mine are deleted at
least weekly, along with the FrontPage temporary files.

OK why do you delete them that often?? I don't think in all the years I have
been using MSFP I have done that except on a rare ocassion such as this..
whats the theory behind the frequent deletions? I mean it is so infrequent it
didn't occur to me that this was the problem..

The web cache files can become corrupted, by regular deletion this
happens only rarely. Deletion of the web cache files does not affect
the way FrontPage works.
