too many copies of the same files in word and excel

Hi

I was trying to learn how to use my new cd burner when all
of a sudden my files from excel and word got copied back
to the computer. I have over 200 copies of the same files.

What happened was, when I was selecting file and folders
to copy to the CD Burner after selecting ten files it
would automatically copy all the files back to the
computer. And it happened so fast I could not cancel it
fast enough. I have now been two days trying to delte all
the extra files and getting quite tired of the process.

Is there some way I can send all the files to the recycle
bin and then restore only the ones that I want? Or do you
have some other suggestion. I would really appreciate some
help.

Have you tried selecting one file>holding down the shift key>selecting the
last file to kill>delete.
Later, be sure to empty your recycle bin.
