too many browser windows open

This should be easy to answer but I cannot find the answer
anywhere in the Microsoft IE 6 Help documentation.
Everytime I open a new page on the internet, a new window
opens in IE 6. I'm constanly closing old windows. Where is
the control that allows me to shut off the Opens new
window every time a new webpage is loaded? Thanks much.

IE tools, internet options, advanced. Turn on the option to re-use windows
for shortcuts.
