Too Easy?

I just started playing with WMM yesterday. I'm making a promo video for a
fishing lodge. I had a few little clips & some photos to play with, so I put
them together. I couldn't save them to dvd in wmm (said it couldn't detect
any cd drive or anything), but then I discovered I have Intervideo windvd
creator 2, so I imported the wmm movie into that, and pretty quickly I had my
video - AND it played on my dvd player. I couldnt' quite believe it could be
that easy... now I'm wondering if it's going to play on other dvd players? Or
if there's some glitch I'm not aware of?

cheers,
Sue

Wow, somebody got it right on the first try! Nice job. :)
It should play just fine on other players.
The only "glitch" to be aware of is that some older model DVD Players are
only compatible with -R or +R blank DVD's but not both. It is a rare problem
these days but some do still report it having happened to them.

Only one glitch.

Not all DVD players will play all types of DVD media. Some won't play +R,
some won't play +RW etc. The manual for the DVD player will indicate what
types of DVD media it will play.

If your DVD burner will burn all types (+R +RW -R -RW) then you can make a
+R for Peter, a +RW for Paul, a -RW for Mary and a -R for you.
