Dvd Playback

I use InterVideo to burn my WMM DVD's. I have had great success in the past
without any problems with playback. This particular DVD is a lot larger than
ones i have previously done, not sure if this is an issue, but my question is:


Why will the DVD play in one DVD player but not another? Is there a way to
burn a new DVD that is compatible with that particular DVD Player? If so,
where do I need to look? How many different compatible options are there?
