toddler key lookalike for W2K

badgolferman

I need this program but it only installs for WinXP. It locks the CD door
and power button, etc. to keep your computer safe from the toddler. Does
anyone know of another one? Thanks.

I don't know of any, but I think it's funny that the guy wrote the app
to protect his PC from his daughter, yet he rewards her with pics and
sounds if she touches the keyboard. Does he want her near it or not?

I need the opposite. My 2 year old it using the computer learn letters &
number but often hit the wrong key. At one time I saw a prom that can
disable the ctrl, del, alt, F keys etc. so only the numbers & letters are
active. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Wonderful Icon can assign a "Do Nothing" to any key.

"The Wonderful Icon is a small Windows utility that resides in your PC's
taskbar tray. Ttry it and you'll be hooked!

TWI has lots of wonderful features. With it, you can:

* Assign hotkeys for common tasks such as minimize windows, restart
Windows, etc.
* Automatically change your system's sound-effect files every few minutes
or every few seconds if you want!
* Minimize programs onto the taskbar tray instead of just onto the
taskbar, either by a keystroke or by right-clicking a window's Minimize
button with your mouse
* Configure a menu of easily-accessible commands
* Increase or decrease speaker volume with the press of a button
* Automatically run programs at start-up, and hide them, minimize them to
the taskbar tray, etc.
* Lots more!
* Oh yeah, and it's free!"

Yep. And the 'duplicate' function means you can assign 'do nothing' to
as many keys as you like... a bit laborious for what Bob wants perhaps.
I would hope there was a pointy clicky remapper about somewhere that
would do the job much quicker.

It may be worth your while to look through some previous messages on

I did look through previous posts. The Keyboard Pounder is not what I am
looking for; he already pounds on it and I don't care about that. I want to
lock the CD tray and disable the power/reset buttons easily like the Toddler
Key program allows.
