TOC

Hi,

I've not much excperience with TOC. I was attempting to create one
following the instructions I found and I have a problem. Graphics which are
included in the various sections are appearing in the TOC. I can't find how
to get rid of them. If I've inadvertantly added them to the TOC, how do I
remove them?

This will happen if graphics are inserted (a) with a heading style or (b)
inside the heading bookmark created by the TOC. To avoid this, use either
Normal or (preferably) a specifically defined style for graphics, and, when
inserting graphics, never insert a new paragraph by pressing Enter at the
beginning of a heading paragraph; instead press Enter at the end of the
previous paragraph (and apply a non-heading style).

Hi,

I have the information on InsertStyleSeparator and have followed the
instructions to add it, but I do not see it on my tool bars. What does it
look like and what do I need to be in, Normal, Outline, Print Layout? I'm in
Word 2003.
