Word 2007 TOC

I have updated an existing document and its TOC to include two more sections.
On the screen, the TOC items and page numbers read correctly. When I print
preview or send the document to the printer, the TOC expands to "magically"
include text from another part of the document as well as the sections added.
Please tell me how I can resolve this situation so that it prints just the
TOC sections and page numbers.

It sounds like one of the heading styles may be applied to the text that is
appearing in the table of contents.
