Hi,
I'm learning C# .NET programming by using the first Visual Studio .Net
version (2002?) just 'cause my office bought it just when released. But
after that we did not bought newer versions. I'm looking for a free
development environment that supports .NET 1.1 and the 2.0 when released.
I'm very interested in generics support. I downloaded Borland C# builder
that is supposed to be free for personal non commercial usage. I didn't
tested it 'cause I'm not sure about the future of the licensing of this
package. I don't want to get sticked to a developmente environment and get
forced to change to another after some months 'cause the newer .NET version
is not supported by the free development environment and similar commercial
tricks.
So I'll be glad to hear your opinions on available free development
environments for learning C#/Windows forms development.
Thanks in advance
Sammy
