hello again
i thought id let you know i done it i scandisced it
then defraged thanx for help but any suggestions on how i
set up the fire wall

Glad to know you got it going. To enable the XP firewall click Start,
Control Panel, Network Connections, right click on your connection (dial up,
LAN, whatever you are using), click Properties, click the Advancer tab, see
that the Internet Connection Firewall box is checked.
