to open and read directly documents pps joined to a message

hello,
do you know to open directly a powerpoint file (pps...) joined to a message.
a Windows mail error message tells that it is not possible to open it
directly because i have to change "les associations" in "panneau de
configuration" but i don't where. Thanks, jacques
