For some reason I am unable to "reply" to your post about my problem.
I wrote about not being able to get through to a commonly used site.
I asked what could be interfering.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and respond to it.

I thought you might like to know that malware was causing my problem.
The latest download from adaware took care of the problem.
