I posted a problem accessing www.macquarie.com.au on Nov
17 and received a reply from Frank Saunders.
Frank, unfortunately after implementing each relevant
component of your recommendations I still cannot access
the site. Do you have any additional advice. Should I
clean my harddrive and reinstall Win XP and all my other
software?
I do appreciate you trying to help me out.

I cannot access www.macquarie.com.au (a financial
website) using my new computer with Windows XP & IE6.
With my old laptop (Windows 98 & IE6 I have no trouble).
I have downloaded JAVA and re-downloaded the latest
version of IE6 with SP1. I have adjusted SECURITY LEVEL
to low and under PRIVACY used the edit command to always
allow cookies.
I continue to get the display "This page cannot be
displayed .... you may need to adjust your browser
settings"
I would apreciate advice - the macquarie website has been
unable to assist.
