Hi Frank,

I know u probably dont remember me, but you answered my
query about the fact that a computer browser would not
display JavaScript and pictures properly. I also mentioned
the fact that it worked with Western European (Windows)
encoding but not its default Western European (ISO).

I have only just tried your solutions on the computer in
question. You told me to tell you if it worked or not.
Unfortunatly they didnt work. Here is what I tried:

1, I went to http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?
url=/nhp/default.asp?contentid=28001169 and downloaded and
installed Microsoft Windows Script 5.6.

2, Tools | Internet Options and click Delete Files.

3, StartRunRegsvr32 vbscript.dll
StartRunRegsvr32 jscript.dll

4, Re-register all DLLs listed in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Url.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll

5, Tools\Internet Options\Advanced\Browsing\Enable third-
party browser extensions. This was checked, so I unchecked
it and restarted the computer.

I was just wondering if this problem could be due to the
fact that the webpage could be designed Frontpage???

Thanks once again and if you have any other thoughts then
please let me know

Nick

I have never figured out why some machines will view pages correctly with
Western (Windows) but not Western (ISO). Every page I have been given to
try works fine with Western (ISO) on my machine.

.

I was just letting you know that was all, because u asked
me 2, and to see whether you had any other thoughts :p

I may try another browser to see if that sorts the problem
out.

Thanks

Nick
