Missing pdm32.dll ?

Windows XP Home Ed 2002 SP2
Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0 Update 6
----------------------------------------------------------
Start->Run-> regsvr32 pdm32.dll returns error:
LoadLibrary("regsvr32 pdm32.dll") failed - The specified module could not be
found.

I am testing if registering Internet Explorer's DLL files can solve the
Flash Add-on problem I have with online games. Except for pdm32.dll, all of
the followings succeeded:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 scrrun.dll
regsvr32 msxml.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 shell32.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll
regsvr32 msscript.ocx
regsvr32 dispex.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Any idea?

That file, pdm32.dll, is not on my system - WinXP Pro SP-2. Do a
Start...Search...Files for it on your system. If it's missing, then that's
why the command failed, of course.

It's not on my system either. Start -> Run -> sfc /scannow didn't find
anything wrong. Can you tell me whether WinXP Home SP2 should have pdm32.dll
?

I am trying to figure out whether it's the cause to the flash add-on and
script problems I have with an online game. The errors:
1) "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to
close."
2) "A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 8 to run
slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do
you want to abort the script?"

It is not a WinXP SP2 Home file. What makes you think it should be there?

Where did you got the idea of registering pdm32.dll from, I think this DLL
was in IE Ver 4.0 and before.
To troubleshoot the flash try uninstall the Flash Software and install a new
dwonload from macromedia flash, you may have corrupt file that preventing you
from seeing the page.

I was just going off of a possible fix from the Web search for the Flash
problem I was having. I have uninstall/re-install both Flash and Shockwave,
it did not solve the Flash game freeze-then-shutdown problem, so I thought
re-registering the IE's DLL files might help -- Well, it did not.

Thank you all for confirming that pdm32.dll is not on XP. I guess my
problem lies more on the Macromedia side than on IE... I'll keep looking.
Thanx.
