Re downloaded website, but links not working
You said "visit site in IE"...my question is "what is IE"?

I deleted what I did yesterday. Began again. Opened Front Page. Opened
Remote Site. Published to my hard drive. Still no working links. I'm
missing something. I haven't had to do this process before and I need to get
it figured out before I can go on and train another on managing this site.

I began this website with zero knowledge and the learning curve has been
tremendous these last 2 years. It's only this week I discovered this help
line.
I've already learned some things from browsing the questions and answers.

.
Linda,
IE is the Internet Explorer browser. Visit your site on the
Internet. Then choose Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage
from the File drop down menu. You will be requested to
enter the username and password. This will open the remote
site in FrontPage. Then Publish the site to your hard drive.

I will suggest this ONE more time:

Go get a book on Front Page. I suggest "Microsoft Front
Page 200x Inside Out" by Jim Buyens. Be sure to get the
one that covers your version of Front Page.

But Rick, you know that "read" is a four letter word.
