To add in the journal item to deleted items folder

Hello,

I would like to add journal items, note items, appointments to the
"Deleted Items" folder through MAPI. But everytime I call Items.Add to that
folder. It will divert to the DefaultFolder for the specific file type.

Anyway to add to the "Deleted Items" folder?

Why?

I need to sync the content of that folder in a PST with another deleted item
folders in another PST. Some kind of mirroring job. Can it be done? Just
want to find out.

By the way, could I be able to know from where the deleted items in the
folder originate from using MAPI or CDO or Redemption?

Create the item, then save and delete it.

No, items, don't maintain a record of their previous folder location.
