TMPGENC

Hi PapaJohn. I have downloaded the "TMPGENC" application, trying to convert MPEG2 captured with Adaptec through MyDVD. However, I can't get it to recognize the MPEG files created. A "not supported" error message keeps coming up. Any idea what I'm missing? Or, are there other converter options? Thanks.

The Importing Source Files > Video > Recorded TV page of my site covers in
pretty good detail how I'm doing it to get from MyDVD to MM2 via TMPGEnc.

At which step is your setup and process different and not working?

JoeBob,

In TMPGEnc, go to:

Options -> Environmental setting... -> VFAPI plug-in

Make sure the box labeled "CRI Sofdec MPEG Decoder"
is checked.
