~tmp in MSYSOBJECTS table

Hi,

I had an error on some VBA code and found, as a result, that there were
several 'deleted objects' in my MSYSOBJECTS table.

I thought that deleted objects were removed from the MSYSOBJECTS table when
the database is compacted HOWEVER when I compact my DB they remain.

I'm using Access 2003. Is there some bug related to Access 2003 db's not
compacting?

Yes, these objects should be removed by a compact.

If they are not, it may indicate a corruption, perhaps one caused by one of
the Name AutoCorrect bugs:

You should be able to get rid of them by creating a new (blank) database,
and importing everything. Follow the steps for the first symptom in:

Thanks, I have copied all to a clean database. Of course you have to
manually reset the references and such. What a hassle!
