Title tag

At 7:00 am I used three Meta tag checkers
http://gritechnologies.com/tools/spider.go?q=www.travelgraphic.com
http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/meta-check.html
http://www.siteowner.com/system/meta.cfm
Only the first one found my Meta and title tags.

My site is http://www.travelgraphic.com

I just rechecked them at 7:15 am and all three found them could the server
have been down the first time I checked them or could the server have been
overloaded?

At7:20 am http://gritechnologies.com/tools/spider.go?q=www.travelgraphic.com
Was the only one to find my title tag but not my Meta tags the other two
found nothing!

This is a shared hosting account and I am beginning to believe that they
have overloaded the server and it is not the fault of anything else. What do
you think?

I look at the code on the page and see this -

<meta name="description" content="If you use your RV full time you might be
able to make money with it.">

<meta name="keywords" content="rv,fifth wheel,trailer,rv clubs,rv
parks,national parks,state parks,alaska">

If I can see it, that means it's there, and that spiders will see it.

I distrust your tag checkers....

Wonder why we're starting another round of this? Gonna get the same answers
as he did yesterday ;-)

Just did! 8)

There's no magic here. If the code is on the page, it's ... ermm ... on the
page.

A spider fetches the page just the same as my browser does....

I know my tags are there and yes I have checked the source view.

I respect every one who replies as I am sure they have more knowledge than I
will ever have.

But I find it to be an insult when some people are sarcastic in their reply.
I am not talking about you Thomas but to another person who replied.

If I can not trust a product that was recommended by people who posted to my
first question or a product offered by Microsoft what can I trust?

This will be my last post as I do not want to burden some of the people with
my meaningless questions.

Thanks to all of the understanding people who tried to answer my questions.

To the sarcastic know it all he can stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

What applications, besides the one you posted, are you using to test with?

If you can see the meta tag in your browser doing a view source, then every search engine can see
them, now whether they use them, is a totally different issue.

Personally, I don't believe in any type of validators, since they are written to validate whatever
the author what it to validate. The best validation is what you can see in a browser.

One of the problems with written communication like this is that it's easy
to be misunderstood. I regret that I was.

If the tag checkers are not seeing the tags, then there is some problem
external to the issue at hand. Have you asked the creators of the programs
why they would do this? That would be where I would start.

Thanks for the reply to my question.

I am not a professional web site designer and have limit knowledge of code.
I am just your average person trying to make a dollar.

I have spent thousands of dollars on Microsoft products over the last
several years, and I find it to be uncalled for when some one on a Microsoft
site has to poke fun of a person just because he thinks himself to be
superior. Where I come from we have an old saying “He is a legend in his own
mindâ€.

If someone would have come down to my level of knowledge and just said
sometimes the spiders can access this information and some times they can’t
it would have answered my question the first time around.

I hope that Microsoft takes a dim view of such sarcasm as this type of
attitude will surely influence my decision to purchase Microsoft products in
the future.

Thank You;

Paul:

For what it's worth, I am a visitor here like you. I have no association
with Microsoft, either formal or implied.
sometimes the spiders can access this information and some times they can't

But this is not true. If it's there, they can access it.

Murray thanks for the apology but you were not the person that I took offense
to.
Thank You
