Yesterday's tip led to some comments about cross-posts. Here's a fun visual to see cross-post relationships between newsgroups:

After opening the page and watching a few seconds

(1) Enter your favorite newsgroup name into the entry field at the lower left.... like this one:

microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker

(2) press the 'Submit groups' and you'll have this Movie Maker newsgroup pulled out of the crowd showing it's strongest 3 links....



..... the info might be dated but it's fun to look at..... and play with. Without entering the Movie Maker newsgroup, you could click on the blocks and move them around to try to find Movie Maker.

Oh my god....you are still producing remarks that you can blow a hole
through...if you had bothered to read your other link properly you would
have discovered that all that is left of most of your messages is a link to
GOOGLE's database of messages...this example you give is so out of
kilter....you are a real fool...would you like me to post here the relevant
links that show how many times the great papajohn crossposted messages
without even knowing he was doing it???

No wait a minute...I think I am going to post the facts on my website...I
will use your messages and then put links to netscape and google that show
you first of all as the LIAR you actually are and then show your most
recent foopah...I must say...you are adding so much proof to my belief that
you are a FRAUD as well as a LIAR

Please ask for my help next time you want to prove something Mr MVP LOL and
for Gods sake keep your moputh shut until you get some one who knows how to
properly use a computer checks your findings

There is no way I can properly express here how much this has pleased me
just accept that I am physically laughing
