Tiny icons and words

When I first loaded Windows XP everything on the screen
was normal size. Then, I restarted my computer and
everything became very tiny. I am assuming some setting
somewhere changed but I have know clue which one it was.
I have changed the resolution and the font size but
nothing has helped.

Does this happen every time you start your computer.
You will have to set the default settings for the environment
Right click on the desktop and choose properties
click on the appearance tab
in the windows and buttons dropdown box choose windows xp style
in the colour scheme choose default blue
in the font size box choose small
