Timing of Text Animation in PPT 03

Bob S

I use Power-point in Office 2003 and have a particular slide with two text
boxes. Each text box has 3 paragraphs. I would like paragraph 1 of both
text boxes to be animated together, paragraph 2 of both text boxes to be
animated together, and paragraph 3 of both text boxes to be animated
together. How can I do that?

Thank you.

Hi Bob

1. Select both text boxes (click one, hold ctrl+click other)
2. From Slide showmenu pick custom animation
3. In custom animation pane select add effect->entrance->pick what you want
4. With both animations still selected click drop down arrow next to one and
select Effect Options
5. On Text animation tab select Group text: by 1st level paragraph (if this
is not available you will need to use a different entrance effect)
6. Expand animations and drag paragraphs into the order you want
7. Select 2nd, 4th & 6th animations and change to Start: with previous
(paras 1, 3 & 5 should be on Start: on click
8. Click Play to check it's all how you want it
9. Sit back and grin

Hi Lucy,
I am grinning. :) Thank you for the help. There are a lot of clever
things you can do if you know how. Thanks for the help.
