hello there,

i am trying to get my WINDOWS 2000 domain controller to
synch with an external timeserver; ip 136.159.2.254 and
tried to use the following command

w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:136.159.2.254 /syncfromflags:
MANUAL

but i get an error message.. can somebody post the proper
command for me here please..

thanks in advance..Jeff

NET TIME [\\computername] /SETSNTP[:ntp server list]

Server list is comma-separated.

thanks very much for your quick reply.

so is the proper syntax

net time \\server /setsntp:ntp 136.159.2.254

and is this something that needs to be run every time it
is rebooted or just once ?

thanks again..Jeff
