Is ther some way of cutting the remaining time from the timeline? My video
clips are so close together that I can't edit them. I thought with all the
remaining uneeded minutes off the timeline, then the workspace might appear
bigger.

You can magnify the timeline by zooming in (pressing page down / page up).

You can also make a movie file then chop off the extra video from the end.

HI, I read your response to another member..I tried the page up/down and
nothing seems to happen. I have only one clip shown in my Timeline. I
did notice each time I used the page up/down theory, the empty box next
to the clip seems to stir a little, but nothing other than that. I have
the latest version.

Did you use the keys that say:
Page Up
Page Down
The arrow keys don't work.
