Trying to find a way to have xp clients set the time zone at bootup
according to the DC that authenticates them, or the subnet they are in or
the AD site they are in.
I assume the only way to do this would be through a startup script. Anyone
with ideas would be greatly appreciated it.
We have users that travel to other countries, and we don't want them to
adjust this manually.

Thanks in advance to all the great minds out there!

Thnaks for your answer, unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start with a
script.
How would I get the script to detect the subnet, or authenticating server ?
I would also need to define within the script all my subnets or DC's with
their associated time zone. Definetly too complicated for me !
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated it.

You are right ! I should have paid more attention to your initial answer.
I will create a gpo at each site to sync the time of the workstations with
that site's specific DC. BRILLIANT !
The answer is usually a lot simpler tha originally thought.

Thank You !
