Time out of internet connection

My internet connection keeps timing out after twenty minutes. How do I change
this to a longer period before auto time out?

Since you forgot to tell us how you connect to the Internet, no one can tell
you. Also, how do you know it times out? Do you get any error messages (if
yes, please quote the exact text) or do you just not get any more websites?

In addition to telling us how you connect to the Internet (name of ISP,
method such as DSL, cable, dialup), are you connected wired or wireless (if
cable or DSL)? Include the version of Vista and Service Pack Level, please.

Did it always do this? If not, what changed between the time things worked
and the time they didn't?
