Time Limit to Install Express Upgrade

Hey all, i'm looking for some help to a question. My company just ordered a
bunch of PCs from Dell. They are XP Pro since we are not going to be ready
for vista for about 6 more months. These computers are Vista Capable and we
are getting the update discs for them, does anyone know if there is a maximum
amount of time we have to install the vista upgrades or do they go bad in 6
weeks? Dell is telling us that we have to upgrade by March 31, 2007 or we
have to pay for a 3yr Vista copy. I want to know if its possible to order
100 pcs and get vista upgrades for them all and install those discs in 6
months, or if i need to buy this 3yr thing at $133/ea.
