Time Issue

The time scheduled for a scan is at 112:00AM. Because
this time never comes around, a scan is never performed
and I'm behind on checking. Changing the date does not
fix the problem. I'm about to try a re-install, but
suspect it will just happen again.

That should indicate a scan scheduled for 10:00 AM. I've had scans running
at that time on a number of machines, and while it always looked funny, it
did work. I'll recheck with the current build.

If you are going to reinstall, and don't have quarantine or other settings
you want to retain, I'd try: 1) uninstall 2) delete installation folder
and all subfolders 3) reinstall.

That won't change this appearing when you set scan time for 10:00 AM, but it
should at least result in the scan actually happening at 10:00 AM.

Hello:

Item number 2...( delete installation folder
and all subfolders....

Does the poster know how to accomplish this task?

Mr.Sanderson it must be noted hereon:

Users must have the expertise to "Understand" MSCONFIG
REGEDIT knowledge. Try as you may to solve their problems
will result in a format eventually.

Comprehending these simple files will make USERS more
aware of program conflict(s).

A user who understands program conflicts that has the
knowledge of running MSCONFIG REGEDIT will take command
of their system.

Deleting a folder, in explorer? I think most users are capable of doing
this, although I sure wish there were a better way.

I certainly haven't had any feedback from folks who've mistakenly deleted
c:\program files, for example.

I guess I tend to agree with you that the uninstall/delete/reinstall
procedure is a bit much for the issue involved here--a scan not happening at
the desired time. I'm expecting Jim to consider his own level of expertise
and how important getting this detail right is to him.

This issue cannot be solved with either MSCONFIG or regedit, and I didn't
recommend them.
