Time different

When I use NET TIME command, I get this message :

C:\>net time
Current time at \\SOUTHPAC is 7/3/2004 11:03 AM

Local time (GMT+08:00) at \\SOUTHPAC is 7/4/2004 2:03 AM

The command completed successfully.

I just dont understand why does the 1st DC current time is 7/3/2004 11:03 AM
and Local time is 7/4/2004 2:03 AM. Because of this, my new W2k cant join
the domain. The error msg I get from the server is :

The system cannot log you on because of the following error: There is a time
difference between the Client and Server. Please try again or consult your
administrator.

Please help,

Yonkey

The time on a client must be within 5 minutes of the time on a DC in order
for Kerberos authentication to work.

The local time zone of each machine doesn't matter -- it's just an offset.

Hope this helps
